OK are the initials of our daughter's first and last names. Reed is the name of Olivia's younger brother.
Olivia alternates pretending to go potty between her plastic portable version and the more permanent ceramic one upstairs. She’s not yet potty trained, just partly trained. She often goes through all the stages of potty time less the grand finale.
We attended a preschool open house this afternoon. Olivia was very reserved at first, but by the end, was unable to resist all the toys and activities at her fingertips. In this picture, Olivia insisted that she was accessing her EEE-mail (heavy emphasis on the first syllable) to look at pictures of baby Lily.
I was literally, but not figuratively, floored by
…because their board was no longer list-less. Olivia and Mommy had fun coming up with a grocery list for the week. Our cake-craving daughter requested all the items on the board – we’re not quite sure of the originations of item number eight.
Olivia attacks her bowls of cereal with the friendly ferocity of Tony the Tiger. She devours the opening bowl and then politely inquires about a return engorgement. She’s gotten up to a fifth bowl on her own, and on occasion, she’ll pirate another person’s bowl.
This picture was taken after she’d gone to the kitchen to retrieve her stool and spoon in an attempt to get at my bowl of honey nut o’s.
