A Counting Society

The young and not-young gathered together to usher out the old year and welcome the new. Prior to the kid- and tired-adult-friendly countdown (we celebrated at 8 p.m. local time), the children were entertained by a balloon artist extraordinaire and storyteller better-than-ordinaire. (Many cheers – maybe 2,009 of them – to our friends, Beth and Jack, for organizing the event.)
