The age-old causality dilemma was answered this Easter morning: we spotted the lovely ducks on the sidewalk as we were leaving for an egg hunt at the house of one of Olivia’s friends. In my eagerness to get out the door, I forgot to bring along Olivia’s Easter basket, but my haste may have not been for waste: the carrying capacity of the bag she was lent far exceeded those of her friends’ baskets. (To think: I was able to instill the virtue of greed and value of being disorganized in one short hour – not bad for a lazy Sunday.)
